Buffalo Raceway
Live racing runs from March through July on the Erie County Fair’s fairgrounds. Simulcast betting is available, and you can also place bets on other sports here. Live games take place on:

Erie County Fair
The Erie County Fair takes place during the second week in August each year. Several food stands and the wine and beer garden provide food and beverages. The Buffalo News Grandstand Stage is where to go for concerts and other performances.
There is also an expo hall, gift shop, police building, and Evans Bank Family Entertainment Complex. Hamburg Gaming is on the western side of the fairgrounds next to the Erie County Sheriff’s area.
Hamburg Gaming
Hamburg Gaming is the Fairground’s land-based casino. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. every day.
There are almost 900 video slots, video poker, video lottery, and progressive machines. Many penny slots are available on the 55,000-square-foot gaming floor. Another 76 games are available in the Lucky Lights Open-Air Veranda.
If you’re at the fairgrounds to use the casino, make sure you don’t forget to join the Lucky North Club. It’s free and all bets earn points that you cash in for free play. You get 1 point for every $10 in wagers. Cash in 50 points for a $1 restaurant discount or 1,000 points for $10 in free play.
